The Kennedy Energy Park (KEP) project is a hybrid renewable energy project consisting of the following technologies:
2 Substations and switchyard
2 MW / 4 MWh lithium-ion battery energy storage system (BESS)
40 to 50 MW wind farm consisting of 12 wind turbine generators (WTGs)
15 to 20 MW single-axis tracking photovoltaic (PV) solar array
The project includes new electrical substations at KEP and Cape River, as well as modifications to existing overhead distribution lines to facilitate connection to the existing Ergon Distribution Network.
